The 3rd EYE chakra is the 6th energy center located in the middle of the eyebrows. This connects us to our pure intuition. When in balance you have good sleeping patterns, you feel joyful, imaginative, fearless, motivated, focused, clairvoyant, open minded, calm, and compassionate. You are deeply connected and spiritually aligned.

When blocked or off balanced, physically you may experience headaches or migraines, earaches, blindness, hallucinations, guilt, mood swings, difficulty concentrating, fear, paranoia, balance issues, hormone dysfunctions seizures, sinus problems, brain fog, anxiety and depression. You may also experience nightmares, fear in change, lack of imagination, loss of trust with the Divine, poor intuition, and narrow mindedness. Here are ways to help heal your chakra.

I SEE

I see the truth in all situations, I trust my intuition and inner wisdom and follow them. My life is divinely guided and always taking me in the direction best for me. I accept my path. I am healing in body, mind, and spirit.

Repeat as often as you wish with your eyes closed. Best if done first thing in the morning and the last thing at night.

Visualization

Find a quiet place, seated in the lotus pose, close your eyes, breathe deeply and allow yourself to visualize. Visualize a spinning indigo-blue ball of energy in your minds eye, between your eyebrows. Imagine it expand all around your head with purpose strengthening your ability to dream, to visualize, to think without attachment. Connect to your inner knowing. Visualize your mind illuminating with the light until you feel fully clear. Repeat exercise as needed.

The 3rd EYE chakra is associated with the element LIGHT. Aromatherapy and candles is a great way to assist your focus and gain further institution. Mediating with the flame will heighten your awareness.

Essential oils or aromas, Rosemary, Lavender, Basil, Jasmine, Geranium, Bay Laurel, Clary Sage, Cypress, Juniper, Patchouli, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Angelica Root, Frankincense, Sandlewood, Myhrr.

Use-diffuse with vaporizer, light a candle, burn an incense stick, apply a roll on, or take a bath.

Healing with Nature

The 3rd Eye element is LIGHT. Receive light therapy by sitting in still and meditating in the sunlight. Practice Sungazing. To sun gaze you must be outdoors, barefoot in dirt, stone, mud, of sand is recommended. You must look at the sun in the first hour after dawn or in the last hour before the sunset. Practice your gaze 44 seconds at a time daily and soon you’ll be able to sungaze for 44 minutes per day. Listen to your body and don’t push yourself. Mediating with candle light can be rewarding as well. Sharpen your intellect by taking a break from TV, phones, and screens and doing more puzzles or brain training exercise.
